Warranty Information

A variety of repairs are covered under  manufacturer warranties. Warranties cover tuning, revoicing and minor repairs, carried out by authorized service providers in the US. Customers are responsible for shipping costs. In the unlikely event that an instrument cracks, or for work on instruments with synthetic blocks or other specialized instruments, the instrument should be returned to the maker for repairs. Glued cracks do not always last, so replacement of the cracked part is advised. If you have a damaged instrument, we are happy to advise you how to proceed.

Ralf Ehlert's instruments are warranted for two years from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship, as well as tuning and voicing. Ehlert instruments should be returned to him in Germany for warranty service work.

Mollenhauer instruments are warranted for two years from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship. Tuning and voicing is also covered for this same period. For tuning and voicing works and most repairs, contact the von Huene Workshop.

Kung instruments are warranted for one year from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship. Contact David Ohannessian or the von Huene Workshop for warranty service.

Paetzold instruments are warranted for two years from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship. Tuning and voicing is also covered for this same period. They should be returned to Kunath for difficult warranty work. 

Moeck instruments are warranted for two years from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship. Contact the von Huene workshop.

Yamaha instruments are warranted for one year from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship. Yamaha instruments are serviced by Yamaha. See below for contact information.
